EGG HARBOR, WI — June 18, 2009 — Patrons
of the arts and others looking to extend their perfect Door County evening have
a wonderful new option. Starting mid-June from 9pm to Midnight, “The Board
Room After Dark” will be available every evening through the season offering
mixed drinks, wine and beer, specialty desserts, light snacks, other refreshments,
and more. The nightly event is located at Liberty Square in its popular Board
Room.
Chris Anderson, one of Liberty Square’s owners, explains that “The Board Room After Dark” resulted from many customers and others encouraging Liberty Square to make its elegant Board Room available for people looking for a quiet and comfortable place to obtain refreshments after attending theater, musical or other performances.
Looking for a potential business venture, the Wegners
contacted Baylake Bank regarding distressed properties,
and the Village Shops of Egg Harbor property was the
first one they looked at. “We saw a huge
potential with the property,” Pamela says.
“The interior and exterior were both very
run down, but we wanted to create a unique shopping
and dining experience – and we knew the location
and space the property offered could not be beat.”
