Don't Break the Bank on Fine Furniture and Art at Liberty Square

Budget conscious buyers of fine furniture and art have found respite in Door County. Liberty Square in Egg Harbor offers a wide variety of name brand indoor and outdoor furniture as well as beautiful works of art at an affordable price and has become a popular destination for residents and visitors.

“We find people come to Door County to relax and make memories. From rocking chairs on the porch to the leather chairs where you watched the ‘big’ game, furniture captures those times in our lives, and we’re pleased to be able to bring affordable prices along with durable, long-lasting brand names that you can pass down to the next generation,”explains owner Pamela Wegner.

Representing the respected furniture lines of Bailey’s Street, Woodbridge, Leathercraft, Henkel Harris and more, Liberty Square offers well-constructed, beautifully designed pieces that can fill your home or office without breaking the bank.

Their Bailey’s Street collection showcases quality accent furniture made from a blend of plantation hardwoods, top-quality veneers and other quality wood products, resins and metals. Their hardwoods are kiln dried artisan hand-painted pieces that give the product a “one-of-a-kind” custom look previously only achieved with higher priced furniture.

The founder of Woodbridge Collection cut his teeth as a top designer for Baker furniture for many years until founding his own company that offers craftsmanship and elegance at an affordable price. And the Leathercraft line is filled with character and made with comfort and cost in mind.

Gloster’s teak wood furniture can be found around the outdoor veranda and Henkel Harris masterpieces are found in The Board Room.

Liberty Square is also home to The Katie Gingrass Gallery at Liberty Square which is having a grand opening during the July 4th weekend. A well-known and highly regarded art dealer and collector, Katie Gingrass has operated a successful art gallery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for 25 years and has been interested in establishing a gallery in Door County for some time.

“I am very impressed that The Door County peninsula is known worldwide as an advanced artistic community. The arts infrastructure here is simply fantastic. Liberty Square has established a solid reputation, and I think I can be an appealing addition to Liberty Square and Door County,” Gingrass commented.

This contemporary art and fine craft gallery features renowned regional, national and international artists including surgeon turned glass sculptor, Steve Immerman and highly textural impressionist painter David Schaefer.

Not the typical store, Liberty Square is proud to offer you a variety of experiences from world class shopping to wonderful food and wine. They’re always happy to help you find the perfect piece at the right price that reflects you and your time in Door County. Stop in any time before November 1, 2009 with a copy of this article or their furniture ad in this publication to receive a free glass of wine while discussing the furniture offerings or while inquiring about a work of art.

The Katie Gingrass Gallery at Liberty Square is located at 7755 Highway 42 in Egg Harbor. Open 10 AM daily.
