Grand Opening Set for
Katie Gingrass Gallery at Liberty Square

	EGG HARBOR, WI – June 5, 2009 – Liberty Square of Egg Harbor WI, a restaurant, fine dining and multi-shop retail center located on Hwy 42 on the Door County peninsula is pleased to announce the opening of The Katie Gingrass Art Gallery in the Liberty Square complex. A gala grand opening for gallery is being planned for the July 4th weekend with many interesting events. Wine tasting, live music, award winning Wisconsin and international cheese, and Hors d’Oeuvres will be available from 2 to 5 pm on Saturday July 4th and from 1 to 5 pm on Sunday July 5th. The public is invited to stop by and visit the gallery, to meet Katie Gingrass and gallery manager, Lori Birr, and to enjoy the fine art on display. Katie Gingrass, a well known operator of a popular art gallery for 25 years in the Historic Third Ward of Milwaukee will display established regional, national and international artists whose work encompasses a variety of artistic expressions at the new gallery in Egg Harbor.

Pamela Wegner, an owner of Liberty Square expressed the firm’s delight in attracting such a high quality and greatly respected art gallery, and art connoisseur in Katie Gingrass, to be part of the expansive layout of retail and dining outlets at Liberty Square.

Wegner said that she was very excited about working with Gingrass to create some “combined events” that would offer appealing new venues of recreation and entertainment featuring wine, gourmet food, dining, music and art.

For example, Wegner and Gingrass said they were planning some extravagant events in Liberty Square’s popular private dining area The Board Room where people can enjoy gourmet dinners, a great selection of wines, and be treated to an exploration of wonderful works of art, and music. A “Tour of the Senses” designed to provide a whole new experience of dining, entertainment, and the arts.

The Katie Gingrass Gallery at Liberty Square is located at 7755 Highway 42 in Egg Harbor. Open 10 AM daily. Artist represented in the photos above Emily Wilson and David Schaefer.
